History repeat itself
You know when you grew and try to remember your past , sometimes it is just as if you have past a stage of difficulty in life especially when you are at a comfort zone. This was exactly what happened to me in 2011 where the treatment that I got from my employer which is the City of Cape Town Council reminded me of the dark days of apartheid. I was accused of various misconducts and to my wonder is the fact that in my eighteen years of loyal service to the city , I have never done those thing which they alledged that I have done. Now at my fourty five years of age with an eighteen years of unbroken service I can act in such a stupid manner as if I am an eighten year old and that is somekind of belittling me and that amount to racist of the highest order. The worse part of it is the fact that I got a call from the employer a day before the disciplinary hearing instructing me to return all items belonging to the employer such as laptops, access cards, and office keys. What implies to me was the fact that the outcomes of the case have been predetermined by the employer although the hearing was postponed. What I have realised from this experience is the afct that it is true that history can realy repeat itself that is why some people believe that what they did during apartheid time was legitimate. They even confirm publicly that even if they can get the opportunity to goven this land , they would repeat what they did in the past without any remorse
